Institute for Environmental Awareness, Inc.
Welcome to the new IEA website!
We are currently in the process of developing the content for this site. You will find much new information in the coming months.
The Institute for Environmental Awareness is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1973 dedicated to promoting and supporting programs and services that encourage living and learning in harmony with the Earth and all Life.
The primary activity of the IEA at this time is our Earthlands Land Trust Initiative. We seek to preserve the 166 acres at 39 Glasheen Road in Petersham, MA in perpetuity for future generations to practice "living and learning in harmony with the Earth and all Life." We will be posting more information about this project soon, including information about how you can get involved in this exciting project.
Because of this concentrated effort, the IEA will not be overseeing any programs and activities in the coming year. All activities at Earthlands (including University of the Wild and the Ecological Living Project) will be operated privately through North Quabbin Farm. This should not significantly effect those who operate programs or participate in them at Earthlands.
Come back frequently for the most up to date information!
