Location
Spend three months living on sacred and inspiring land…
The Ecological Living Project will take place at Earthlands, a rural oasis located in Petersham, Massachusetts. Earthlands is located on over 400 acres of forest and meadow, in the heart of thousands of acres of protected land. This secluded land has various sacred sites and is rich in bio-diversity. For fifteen years, Earthlands has been a hub for people to explore practices of personal and planetary change.
The northeast bio-region is a hub for environmental awareness and social justice. The Ecological Living Project plugs into this through local/regional trips and through our network of people and organizations. Discover the movements that are making the region a center for progressive ideas.
Facilities
Earthlands main lodge is an off-grid site, with basic solar systems and propane appliances. We have a grid-tied office with phone and internet. Participants will live in the lodge and various out-buildings. A composting toilet system and solar shower complement the setup. There is also a 24’ Pacific Yurt which will serve as a space for group circles. The main lodge will serve as the focal point for work projects, gardens and selected programming. Conventional indoor shower and toilet are available.
